Welcome to ChiefMode. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ChiefMode application, website, and services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ChiefMode, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the application.
2. License and Restrictions
ChiefMode grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the application solely for your personal or internal business purposes on devices you own or control. You may not:
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works from the application.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application.
- Resell, lease, wrap, redistribute, or use the application for service bureau purposes.
3. Local Processing Acknowledgement
ChiefMode operates locally on your machine. We are not responsible for the data loss, device performance, battery usage, or local hardware load generated by on-device AI models. Ensuring sufficient storage and performance capacity is the user's responsibility.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
ChiefMode is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We explicitly disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the application will be purely uninterrupted or error-free.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ChiefMode, its creators, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use or inability to use the application or services.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the standard commercial laws applicable to software distribution in your jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
